Prada opens the doors to its chic new Atlanta boutique with a cocktail to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
President and CEO of Prada USA Francois Kress flew in for the grand opening of Prada’s chic new boutique in Lenox Square. Six Atlanta ladies on the scene, each clad magnificently in Prada, played host: Meg Arnold, Wendy Conrad Aronson, Ginny Brewer, Elizabeth Klump, Elizabeth Schulte Roth
The new Prada boutique is a sleek space with a black marble façade and light boxes framed in polished steel. The women’s salon boasts lilac velvet sofas, large smoky mirrors and crystal counters, while the men’s salon has rosewood furniture and polished steel and black saffiano leather details. The spade is stylishly stocked with Prada’s signature ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and accessories for men and women.
Hundreds of style and media types filed into the gleaming space to check out Prada’s latest accessories and ready-to-wear, not to mention iconic bags. We loved the high-tech iPad check-in at the doors and the bar stocked with vintage sips such as Aviation cocktails and Moscow Mules. Among the Prada pack: Sandra Baldwin, Suzanne Kasler, John Dewberry, Lisa Stein, Sarah Bentley Powell, Ryan Hattaway, Melanie Benecki, Bruno Lima, Sarah Harris, Kelli Flournoy, Kevin Knaus, Tamara Knechtel, Nancy Gallups, Barbara Dye, Jada Loveless, Ann Mashburn, Reggie Walker, Cinda and Mark Boomershine, Erin Kelly Harraway, Kara Kaminsky, Elizabeth Morgan Spiegel, Uri Vaknin, Harriet Leibowitz, Warren Huntley, Rebecca Brodnan, Jay and Alison Womack Jowers.
Proceeds from the evening, as well as a percentage of all sales from Dec. 13 to Dec. 23, will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
