So Money!
Adorn yourself in fall’s bejeweled shades of gold and emerald green and you will look rich, indeed
By Nancy Staab
From the rush of metallic gold to the glimmering depths of emerald green, you will drip with glamour this fall in these expensive shades. Or wear the two colors together for a coruscating, gem-like effect

Glimmers of gold have added sheen to the runways since last spring and a slew of starlets sheathed themselves in gold like Oscar statues on the red carpets this past season. Now, with the approach of fall, the rich hues of emerald green are also catching fire. From Oscar de La Renta’s ladylike gold cocktail dress to Ferragamo’s baroque brocades and from Alexis Bittar’s malachite green jewelry to Gucci’s deep, velvet green plunge grown, green and gold fashions have never looked so “money.” Here’s a slideshow of some of the runway’s best looks and accessories for fall in these two chosen hues from the likes of Lanvin, YSL, Balmain, Alberta Ferretti’s Philosophy, Tory Burch, Valentino, Michael Kors, Bottega Veneta, Milly, Alexander McQueen.
